My friends have a peculiar taste of joke. Why do they give me a Bloomingdale's gift card anyway? I 'll explain later why it's such a joke. This Saturday, I strolled around one of their stores in Michigan Avenue (that's in the Magnificent Mile Chicago for those who are not from the area). Boy, that was a cold windy day in November to be strolling around. My husband kept complaining and wondered why he got stuck with me. I had to convince him that I need to check out a little "something" in Bloomingdale's since I got a gift card. After a lot of arguments and discussion, he sacrificed his couch potato time, watching NCAA college football games, to drive to downtown and accompany me window shopping. Well, that day turned out to be a windy, chilly day to be out and about. Surprisingly, there are other window others walking around enjoying this Saturday. I counted about a million of them or maybe somewhere along that number.In Bloomingdale, I could not help but noticed a super fancy boot by Coach and a nice fall jacket by DKNY, or a nice denim skirt by Guess. And I searched...searched...and searched ,but could not help but wonder what do women of eight and a half month pregnant shop in Bloomingdale's? I practically can only look in wonder and wished that my waist was back to its normal size of a 4. While, I am practically looking like a whale, I cried out in my heart why my girlfriends gave me a Bloomingdale's gift card, instead of something else that an expectant mom could use....So here is my attempt to cash the gift and turn it into cash. I need the moolah for other things...I guess after the baby is here, it will be awhile anyway before I can enjoy that mini skirt by Guess or nice fall jacket by DKNY. As for the boot, that is a different story.I am putting a reserve price since I need to make sure I got the right price for this card.
